Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the Soap Queens Laundry Lounge premises, equipment, services and website (together, the "Services"). By entering our premises, using any equipment, joining Royalty Rewards, using the Weekend Transfer Service, using the K9000 Dog Wash, or browsing this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our Services. We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.

Soap Queens Laundry Lounge is a self-service laundromat located at:

140 Wheelers Park Drive, Cranbourne North VIC 3977

We provide:

• Self-service washers and dryers
• K9000 DIY Dog Wash
• Weekend Transfer Service
• Royalty Rewards Membership

Our laundromat is open daily from 6:00am to 11:00pm.

The K9000 Dog Wash is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via the rear car park.

Our equipment is provided for normal personal and household laundry use.

When using our facilities you agree to:

• Follow all posted instructions and signage.
• Check all pockets before washing.
• Only wash items suitable for commercial laundry equipment.
• Do not overload machines.
• Do not tamper with machines or payment systems.
• Supervise children at all times.
• Remove laundry promptly once cycles have finished.
• Clean up any spills or detergent leaks using the cleaning supplies provided.
• Follow any reasonable directions given by Soap Queens staff.

The following items must not be washed:

• Hazardous or flammable materials.
• Items contaminated with chemicals, oils, paint or solvents.
• Items that may damage our equipment or another customer's laundry.
• Horse rugs or heavily soiled horse equipment.

Soap Queens accepts no responsibility for damage resulting from misuse of equipment or from unsuitable items being washed.

All pricing displayed in-store and on our website is in Australian Dollars (AUD) and includes GST where applicable.

Payment may be made using card, contactless payment, the Soap Queens payment system (where available), or cash where accepted.

Refund Requests

If a machine experiences a fault, please contact our team as soon as practical and provide:

• Machine number
• Approximate time of use
• Payment details
• Description of the issue

We may inspect the machine and transaction history before determining an appropriate remedy. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a refund, service credit or another reasonable solution.

Refunds are not available for:

• Change of mind.
• Incorrect machine selection.
• Overloading machines.
• Unsuitable garments.
• Incorrect wash or drying settings.
• Failure to follow posted instructions.

Weekend Transfer Service is available weekends only during our staffed service hours.

Current service hours are:

• Staffed: 10:00am – 4:00pm
• Last transfer accepted: 3:00pm
• Same-day collection available until 11:00pm

By using this service you agree that:

• Laundry is transferred from the washer to the dryer and then placed into a collection locker.
• This service does not include folding.
• All items must be suitable for commercial laundering.
• You have checked all pockets before drop-off.
• Hazardous or prohibited items will not be accepted.
• Laundry should be collected on the same day.
• Daily locker hire or storage fees may apply to uncollected laundry.

Where permitted by law, Soap Queens' liability for loss or damage is limited to the reasonable replacement value of the affected item, up to a maximum of ten times the service fee paid.

The K9000 Dog Wash is available 24 hours a day and is used entirely at the owner's risk.

Owners remain responsible for their dog's behaviour and safety at all times.

Please do not use the dog wash if your dog:

• Is aggressive.
• Has fleas or ticks.
• Has open wounds.
• Appears unwell.
• Has a contagious condition.

After using the dog wash, customers are expected to:

• Remove excess fur using the broom provided.
• Dispose of fur in the bin supplied.
• Rinse the wash area using the disinfectant hose provided.
• Leave the area clean for the next customer.

Royalty Rewards is free to join and provides eligible members with discounted washer pricing, discounted dryer pricing and reward points on eligible purchases.

Membership conditions include:

• Membership is personal and non-transferable.
• Points may expire after 12 months of account inactivity unless otherwise advised.
• Benefits, discounts and reward structures may change from time to time.
• Soap Queens reserves the right to suspend or cancel memberships where fraud, abuse or breaches of these Terms are identified.

Soap Queens provides complimentary guest Wi-Fi for the convenience of our customers.

By using our guest Wi-Fi, you agree to:

• Use the service only for lawful purposes.
• Not attempt to access, interfere with or disrupt our network, systems or other users.
• Not use the service to transmit unlawful, offensive, abusive or malicious content.
• Accept that internet availability, speed and performance may vary and cannot be guaranteed.

Soap Queens reserves the right to suspend, restrict or terminate access to the guest Wi-Fi at any time where misuse, security concerns or technical issues arise.

Use of our guest Wi-Fi may involve the collection of limited technical information required to provide and maintain the service. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further information on how this information is collected, used and protected.

Customers remain responsible for their personal belongings at all times.

Soap Queens is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to:

• Personal belongings.
• Laundry left unattended.
• Laundry left in machines.
• Laundry left in lockers beyond the advised collection period.

Reasonable efforts will be made to reunite lost property with its owner.

Unless otherwise required, unclaimed items may be donated or disposed of after 30 days.

Perishable or hygiene-related items may be disposed of earlier where necessary.

Soap Queens is committed to providing a clean, welcoming and family-friendly environment.

Customers must behave respectfully towards:

• Staff
• Other customers
• Our equipment
• Our facilities

We reserve the right to refuse service or request any person to leave where behaviour is unsafe, abusive, unlawful or likely to interfere with the enjoyment or safety of others.

Our premises are monitored by CCTV for the safety and security of customers, staff and property. CCTV footage may be used to investigate incidents and may be provided to law enforcement or other authorised agencies where required by law.

All content on this website, including text, graphics, photographs, logos, branding, designs and layout, is owned by or licensed to Soap Queens Laundry Lounge.

Content may be viewed and shared for personal, non-commercial use only.

No content may be copied, reproduced, modified, republished or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law or any other legislation that cannot legally be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Customers use our equipment and facilities at their own risk.
• Soap Queens is not liable for indirect, consequential or incidental losses.
• Our total liability for any claim relating to a specific service is limited to the amount paid for that service.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
